- Support the development of new assembly methods, tools, and processes for rapidly evolving designs.
- Ensure quality, safety, and traceability throughout all build processes.
- Provide feedback to design engineers on manufacturability and assembly improvements.
- Build from engineering drawings and CAD models for both new and updated designs.
- Partner with manufacturing and production teams to transition designs into production, including training and process documentation.
Required
- 5+ years of industry or directly relevant experience.
- Strong background in mechanical assembly and systems integration.
- Hands-on experience with low and high-voltage electrical systems and components.
- Proven ability to work in a high-paced, high-quality environment.
- Strong work ethic, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) or as an engineering technician.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift assemblies up to 50 lbs.
Desired
- A&P License or Equivalent (familiar with aircraft maintenance standards and work processes).
- Skilled in writing and following work instructions.
- Familiarity with machining, welding, and general mechanical craftsmanship.
- Experience with instrumentation setup and data collection.
- Working knowledge of CAD and PLM/PDM systems.
- IPC J-Standard certification.
