About Mia Labs, Inc.

Mia Labs is an investor-backed startup on a mission to modernize dealership operations and transform the automotive consumer experience through conversational AI. Trusted by some of the nation's largest dealership groups, we are rapidly scaling our team, product offerings, and customer base. We build intelligent systems that turn every missed call or inquiry into an opportunity, improving customer satisfaction and dealership performance through automation that feels human.

About the Role

As we grow, events and strategic partnerships are becoming key drivers of brand visibility, customer growth, and market education. This role will shape how Mia shows up across the automotive industry.

You’ll architect our event strategy, bring partnership moments to life, and ensure Mia’s presence across conferences, roadshows, webinars, and media activations feels unmistakably automotive, AI-native, and world-class. This is a high-ownership role with direct visibility across the organization.

Who You Are

You’re a builder and a doer. You thrive in fast-moving environments where ideas quickly become executions. You care about the experience an event creates as much as the logistics behind it. You’re organized without being rigid, collaborative without needing handholding, and capable of balancing creative ideation with operational precision.

You understand how events shape brand perception—and you’re excited to elevate Mia’s presence at a national scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Mia’s Event Strategy: Own our full calendar of industry conferences, regional events, partner activations, digital events, and roadshows.

  • Drive End-to-End Execution: Manage logistics, timelines, budgets, travel, vendor coordination, onsite operations, and post-event follow-through.

  • Bring Partnerships to Life: Oversee the project management of co-branded materials, ensuring partner events and shared assets are accurate, up to date, and aligned with our brand.

  • Collaborate on Creative: Work closely with our Brand Marketing Manager to develop compelling visuals, messaging, and assets that elevate our presence.

  • Manage Vendors & Freelancers: Source, select, onboard, and manage external partners who support event execution.

  • Prepare Teams for Success: Equip sales, executives, and cross-functional partners with the content and materials they need for each event.

  • Represent Mia With Confidence: Coordinate and support media-facing moments, from press interactions to panel logistics.

  • Measure & Improve: Analyze event performance, recommend improvements, and continuously elevate our approach.

What We Want You to Have

  • 5–10 years of proven experience in event marketing, event management, or experiential marketing.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute events that drive measurable business outcomes.

  • Exceptional project management skills—highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage large budgets confidently.

  • Strong vendor, freelance, and relationship management capabilities.

  • Experience coordinating media activations or managing media relationships.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams across design and brand.

  • Automotive industry experience is highly desirable.

  • Comfortable traveling as needed to support event execution.

Why Mia

  • Equity participation through stock options.

  • Fully paid health, vision & dental insurance for employees.

  • Flexible PTO and hybrid schedule (3 days / week in downtown Austin).

  • Free lunches, paid parking, team events, and a casual, but get things done culture.

Compensation

  • Compensation for this position will be competitive with current market rates and reflective of the candidate's experience, skills and qualifications.

Our Commitment

At Mia, we’re committed to a workplace where everyone is valued, included, and empowered to do their best work. Our strength comes from diverse experiences, perspectives, and skills, and we’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

Passionate about the role but don’t tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you, you might be exactly who we need.
