We are seeking a passionate GPU Application Software Engineer with a deep understanding of system architecture and a passion for solving complex, low-level challenges. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in environments where they can leverage their extensive knowledge of Linux, networking, kernels, and hypervisors. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, with a strong ability to pivot in response to high-priority customer needs and keep stakeholders informed.

Key Responsibilities / Qualifications:

• System Architecture Proficiency: Utilize one’s deep knowledge of low-level system architecture to design and optimize software that interfaces seamlessly with underlying hardware and cloud components
• Ability to design and develop userspace application systems
• Linux Networking: Implement, troubleshoot, and optimize low-level networking features within Linux environments
• Development: Tackle complex and unfamiliar areas of development independently, demonstrating the ability to research, diagnose, and resolve deep system issues
• Use knowledge of software development to detect GPUs on the system and configure them for use
• Kernel or Hypervisor Knowledge: Has contributed or has deep understanding of kernels or hypervisors, ensuring the stability and performance of the Company’s systems at the foundational level
• Customer Focus: Adapt quickly to the evolving needs of the Company’s customers, providing timely and effective solutions to high-priority issues as they arise
• Comfortable working with systems software engineers and can navigate complexities of their role using previous knowledge and experience
• Kubernetes and Container Expertise: Low-level understanding of containers (runC, containerd, or CRI) and Kubernetes, building secure by design architecture
• Go and Rust Programming: Interface with Kubernetes and other system components through deep knowledge of Go and Rust, contributing to and debugging code to ensure reliability and performance
• Security System Design: Design secure by default infrastructure and isolation technology for containers
