We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to contribute to the financial success of Owlet Baby Care. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. This role will report to the Controller.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform month-end/quarter-end/year-end close procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Support external audits and internal control assessments.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Utilize accounting software (NetSuite) to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, including a combination of public accounting and industry experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (NetSuite preferred).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Coupa and NetSuite is a plus.
