We’re looking for a Country Manager for Tinder Thailand: a bold, visionary leader who will grow Tinder’s presence and impact in one of our most exciting markets. This is a high-profile, high-impact role reporting directly to the Vice President of Asia & Middle East at Match Group. Responsibilities
- Set-up and implement the end-to-end brand strategy and be responsible for achieving brand and business growth in Thailand
- Strategic Planning: Develop integrated Weekly/monthly/quarterly marketing strategies and campaigns aimed at achieving brand growth in terms of revenue, equity and user base expansion.
- Design big ideas: Create marketing campaigns that resonate deeply with Thai culture, youth, and Gen Z — across brand, partnerships, media, social, PR, and beyond.
- Bring Tinder to life: Orchestrate unforgettable activations and multi-channel storytelling that put Tinder at the center of culture and conversation. Lead the development of compelling marketing collateral, content, and messages together with Agency partners that resonate with the target audience.
- Brand Activations:Manage a multi-channel marketing strategy across digital, social, offline, performance, PR, BD and partnerships.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders and team members across the globe to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
Requirements
- Experience: A brand builder, minimum 8–10+ years leading consumer brands, with experience in youth, culture, or digital-first companies.
- Business acumen: Strong business acumen with proven track record of driving user & revenue growth.
- Marketing Expertise: Proven track record across all marketing disciplines with a full-funnel experience.
- Consumer Insights: Skilled in extracting and leveraging consumer insights to inform successful brand campaign strategies and executions.
- Cultural insider: Deep understanding of Thai consumer behavior, media landscape, social trends, and culture, especially among Gen Z.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A strategist and do-er. A Hands-on leader, who possesses a start-up mentality, willing to take risks and explore new possibilities to drive projects and ideas.
- Collaboration: Team player with experience in leading the team and navigating through metrics organization by setting clear and challenging goals
- Adaptability: Thrive in fast-paced environments, comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to change.
- Fluency in Thai and English is a must
- Optional: Mobility and Experience in other South east asian countries will be a plus
Key Deliverables
- Growth Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to drive market growth, achieve targets, and maintain brand health for Tinder in Thailand.
- Marketing Effectiveness & Efficiency: Ensure marketing efforts align with country goals and manage fiscal budgets effectively.
- Initiative Execution: Oversee the execution of various marketing initiatives including localized CRM, PR, IRL, growth, brand, performance, and influencer marketing.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with other cross-functional teams within Tinder (product/engineering, analytics, other regions, and other Match Group brands) to align on marketing strategies.
- Consumer Insights: Provide a clear understanding of local consumer insights, product usage, cultural nuances, and user behavior.
