The Member Protection team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trust & Safety Operations Specialist (6-Month Contract) to join our team. In this short-term role, you will support critical safety workflows, including cross-brand appeals, child safety operations, and high-priority safety escalations. This position involves weekend coverage. Due to the nature of Trust & Safety work, this role involves exposure to sensitive, and at times graphic or disturbing, content related to online and offline harm. The ideal candidate is empathetic, resilient, and meticulous—with strong communication skills and a passion for maintaining a safe and respectful online environment.

How you’ll make an impact:
- You will review and respond to member appeals escalated by Tier 1 moderation teams for additional guidance or review.
- You will conduct high-sensitivity operations tasks, including reviews of suspected exploitation or enticement of minors and referring cases to appropriate reporting authorities as needed.
- You will support internal operations teams and external vendor partners by performing quality checks, responding to agent questions, and facilitating calibration sessions.
- You will review and respond to incidents, executive escalations and inquiries, and general safety escalations, including those involving sensitive or graphic content, in a timely and high-quality fashion.
- You will identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of safety operations.
- You will clearly communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, including crossfunctional partners like Product, Engineering, and Data Science, and senior leadership and executives.
We may be a match if:
- You have 2+ years proven experience working in trust & safety or related fields.
- You have familiarity with legal and compliance requirements related to content moderation, data privacy, and user safety.
- You are a true team player with deep empathy for user experience and a continuous growth mindset.
- You are comfortable routinely reviewing sensitive, graphic, or otherwise objectionable content, and able to engage in clear, composed discussions around difficult or emotionally challenging topics.
