Develop focused roadmaps that are strategically aligned and contribute significantly to the business goal. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to lead in developing specifications for key features across profile, onboarding and other core areas ensuring high standards of clarity and utility. Independently manage medium-to-large projects, utilizing project management expertise to plan, monitor, and resolve issues for on-time delivery. Design, implement and measure multivariate A/B tests to show incremental impact across new features and optimize current features. Use insights from multiple sources to help prioritize roadmap decisions, balance feedback from members with the needs of the business and make informed trade-off decisions. Utilize data insights to drive business and member impact on substantial responsibilities. Establish effective working relationships with cross functional business stakeholders including engineers, marketers, analysts, content writers and designers to enable project ownership and delivery. Evaluate and adjust hypotheses based on data for significant business and member impact. Anticipate risks early in the product lifecycle and formulate comprehensive mitigation plans. Learn the dynamics of the company ecosystem, understand the psychology of users, and identify their product needs. Domestic travel required 5-10% of the time to company offices. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to 275 Battery Street, San Francisco, CA, 94111. Salary: $165,460 to $192,000 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as Product Manager or any occupation/position/job title involving working on user-facing B2C (business to consumer) applications. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as Product Manager or any occupation/position/job title involving working on user-facing B2C (business to consumer) applications. Must also have experience in the following: 2 years of professional experience launching successful MVPs or high-volume A/B tests; 2 years of professional experience working with Core features within a product including profile and onboarding; 2 years of professional experience defining metrics and making product and strategic decisions based on A/B testing and qualitative user insights; and 2 years of professional experience communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
