The Director of Threat, Intelligence, and Crisis Management will lead Match Group’s efforts to protect its global portfolio of employees, properties, and brands. As part of the Protect team, this role will oversee Threat Assessment, Executive/Travel Security, and Investigation programs, while conducting intelligence analysis to anticipate emerging global threats. The director will be responsible for all aspects of threat analysis, executive protection, and risk management, proactively identifying risks to the business and its people.
Reporting to the VP/Global Head of Real Estate, Facilities, and Security, this role is critical in collaborating with leaders across the portfolio, including Trust and Safety and Information Security. The director will ensure the protection of Match Group executives and assets, driving security strategies in alignment with the company’s goals. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in threat assessment, risk management, and crisis management, working across global teams to safeguard the organization.
This position will require being onsite 4 days/week in our Dallas office.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Monitor geopolitical, industry, and executive security risks using third-party intelligence.
  • Investigate security and workplace violence incidents, updating policies to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with GSOC to develop threat monitoring policies and procedures.
  • Lead and enhance executive protection and event security programs.
  • Oversee global security policies, objectives, and budgets with periodic quality assessments.
  • Implement a global security process assessing threats, vulnerabilities, and protection goals.
  • Ensure compliance with global laws and security trends, consulting third-party firms when needed.
  • Partner with Real Estate, Facilities, Legal, HR, and other teams to develop security risk strategies.
  • Develop security awareness training for all employees and manage third-party security contractors.
  • Participate in crisis management emergency response, and conduct investigations of security threats.
  • Partner with Sr Manager of Global Physical Security, SVP of Security Engineering, and VP of Trust & Safety to establish a holistic approach to threat management and mitigation across all of Match Group’s businesses

We could be a match if you have:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate security or a related public sector role, with increasing responsibility in threat management, executive protection, and crisis response in a multinational organization. At least 5 years must be in a senior leadership role, with law enforcement or government experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with relevant certifications or leadership roles in security organizations. Proven expertise in developing and leading global security programs and teams.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and collaborative skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams, security professionals, and third-party contractors across diverse business units.
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills, capable of articulating complex security issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management. Politically astute, focused on achieving security outcomes.
  • Results-oriented and adaptable, with strong integrity and the ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, ambiguous environments, managing global intelligence programs with limited oversight.
  • Proven subject matter expertise in threat management, travel security, and executive protection, with experience in conducting threat investigations, intelligence analysis, and implementing security solutions that align with company goals.
  • Experience developing and delivering intelligence assessments and briefings to senior leaders on emerging threats, particularly in relation to real-world violence, geopolitical risks, and business continuity.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, with experience navigating global security customs and cultures, and a strong network in key regions such as APAC and EMEA.

  • You’ll be working alongside Director, Sr. Director, and VP-level leaders in Facilities, Events Management, Workplace Experience, Trust & Safety, IT, Cybersecurity, and Legal. The preferred location for this role is our Dallas office.
