The Team or Role
As our Financial Analyst, you will be a crucial member of our team, providing vital financial analysis and reporting to help our company and stakeholders achieve their strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include performing weekly and monthly metrics reporting as part of the month-end close process, engaging in the budgeting tasks for our annual strategic plan cycle, managing monthly P&L re-forecasting, and conducting ad-hoc analysis to support various business leaders. We are seeking a smart, analytical individual with a strong passion for finance and a proven ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.
Where you’ll work:
This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration two days per week. This position is located in West Hollywood, CA.

In this role, you will:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, develop expense models, and contribute to profit and loss (P&L) and average variable cost (AVC) assessments.
  • Forecasting: Leverage historical data, and business knowledge to predict future financial outcomes. Develop and maintain robust forecasting models to aid strategic planning.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for forecasting results to stakeholders, enhancing visibility and decision-making processes.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Respond to on-demand requests for financial analysis to support decision-making across various departments.
  • Project Management: Assist in managing multiple projects simultaneously under guidance, ensuring all deadlines are met with appropriate supervision and support.

You will need:

  • 2+ years experience as an Analyst
  • A Bachelor Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with Tableau, Mode, or similar data visualization software, demonstrating strong capabilities in creating interactive reports and visual analytics.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong ability to think strategically and provide insightful conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex data in an understandable format.
  • Ability to drive projects to successful completion and exceed goals in quality and delivery of financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
