Pairs (ペアーズ) is looking for a skillful Marketing Project Manager who can contribute to our business growth by building operation mechanisms and executing them in timely manner. You will work closely with several stakeholders, such as marketing team, accounting team, legal team, and external partners. The operation team will be pursuing a more efficient and productive operational process, because it helps to bring the extra time and resources for the entire team, which are strongly considered our fundamental growth factor.
To be successful in this role, you should find yourself nodding in agreement with the following:
- Lead the development of operation processes to make all marketing operations simplified and standardized
- Monitor the budget planning at marketing cross-teams level and give a head-up appropriately to make smoother booking process monthly and annually
- Offer meaningful insights and improving idea that can be leveraged in operation and strategy, by observing and handling budgeting direction together with Marketing Strategy & Ops Director, and other key stakeholders
- Provide support to data analysis, data entry, purchase order creation/reconciliation and financial oversight of marketing team and report it in appropriate timing
- Develop and monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement of activities within Growth marketing activities
- Gather and present data-backed insights, optimization recommendations, and key learnings to internal and external partners, seeking for growth opportunities
- Deeply understand the corporate governance both in Japan local level to MG group level and demonstrate it in day to day work
- Provide proactive supporting analysis for highly strategic areas to contribute to business growth
- Lead operational excellence not solely to the Japanese market, but also to the global potential markets by building up the consolidating global-level operation practices
- Own testimonial management which is one of the most critical marketing assets of Pairs, and lead the relevant operational workflow with both internal and external key stakeholders
Must-have requirements
- Have a strong moral compass and set of values, which you will not compromise on, change willingness, self-awareness, integrity, impact and enthusiasm, good presentation skills
- Have a strong project management experience, if global project or intercultural activities’ experience is plus
- Experience in data-driven approach in its business decision making process Experience or have a general understanding of corporate governance
- being familiar with accounting procedure from business front to back-office level, particularly marketing, sales ops area
- Expert level knowledge of Excel
- Possess a start-up mentality; risk taker in regards to what's possible, and how to enable projects and ideas
- Action-oriented with a “roll up your sleeves approach”
- You have demonstrated ability to think both strategically and creatively
- Flexible and open to change and new ideas
- Challenging, proactive, and energetic to keep questioning and improving the status quo
- Can effectively and professionally communicate/articulate in Japanese and English, both verbally and in writing, with leaders and stakeholders
Preferable requirements
- A mindset that can and will provide new value to the organization through standardization and mechanization of operations (not just pursuing self-success)
