Our Mission
As humans, there are few things more exciting than meeting someone new. At Tinder, we’re on a mission to power and inspire real connections by making it easy and fun for every new generation of singles. With tens of millions of users, hundreds of millions of downloads, 2+ billion uses of the Swipe® feature daily, 20+ million matches per day, and a presence in 190+ countries, our reach is expansive—and rapidly growing.
We work together to tackle complex problems. Behind the simplicity of every match, we think deeply about human relationships, behavioral science, network economics, AI and ML, online and real-world safety, cultural nuances, loneliness, love, sex, and more.
The Role
We're seeking an innovative associate marketing manager to join our dynamic team and catapult our brand to new heights in the UK & Nordics market!
In this role, you'll be one of the driving forces behind our marketing campaigns, from the spark of an idea to the final execution. Based in our vibrant central London office, it's a hybrid position that offers the perfect blend of collaboration and autonomy. You'll report directly to the Marketing Manager, UK & Nordics, ensuring your ideas and strategies align seamlessly with our broader vision.
Are you a social and marketing wizard interested in captivating Gen Z audiences? Do you thrive with innovation and love finding new ways to engage consumers? If this sounds like you, we're eager to meet!
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with the UK Marketing Team to develop and implement integrated go-to-market plans, focusing on aligning with Tinder's brand narrative and positioning in the UK & Nordics market.
- Activate comprehensive 360-degree marketing campaigns, working closely with PR, Social, and Product Teams to enhance ideas and ensure effective, comprehensive campaign execution.
- Develop innovative social media strategies to boost brand visibility and engagement, continuously reviewing trends and adapting strategies to stay current.
- Create compelling, brand-aligned content, partnering with the design team to produce visually appealing graphics and videos tailored for social media platforms.
- Cultivate and coordinate influencer relationships to expand brand reach and authenticity, focusing on strategic campaigns.
- Work closely with the Consumer Insights team and perform a detailed social media metrics analysis to gauge campaign performance and guide future directions, ensuring regular reporting on return on investment and engagement metrics.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying and promoting the company’s mission and values in all marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and support agency relationships, ensuring all UK partners are consistently updated about critical project developments.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Gen Z, staying informed about relevant cultural events and trends.
- Conduct competitor analysis to stay ahead in market positioning and strategy.
- Provide insightful feedback on social media creatives and copy.
- Efficiently communicate and maintain project timelines, ensuring smooth progress and budget tracking.
We're looking for:
- A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in brand and campaign management, focusing on digital marketing.
- A digital/social native with an in-depth understanding of the social media landscape, particularly regarding Gen Z.
- Preferably, a sound knowledge of the UK Influencer landscape.
- An inquisitive approach and a natural curiosity to propose and test new insights.
- Excellent project management skills with an organized, diligent, and proactive approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills, building and maintaining lasting professional relationships, and effective teamwork capabilities.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a high comfort level in dealing with ambiguity and adapting to change.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong command of the English language and proficiency in an additional European language would be a plus.
As part of our team, you’ll enjoy:
- The hustle of a startup with the impact of a global business
- Tremendous opportunity to tackle some of the industry’s most exciting problems
- Working with an extraordinary team of smart, creative, fun and highly motivated people
