Meetic Europe’s Global Brand team is looking for a new team mate to help us to design impactful and innovative creatives aligned with brand strategy and business objectives, keeping up with the latest global trends 🚀
As a Brand Design Manager, you will answer to the Brand & Design Director and be part of our Creative Lab team (aka in-house Creative team at Meetic Europe). Your role will be part of to assist us in a 360° scope to support all creative needs:
Brand Identity: Developing brand guidelines according to brand platform
Brand Campaign: Adapting our brand and content campaigns
Brand Value: Infusing brand messages and values into the product
Brand Performance: Ensuring a consistent & impactful brand presence across acquisition funnel
… for all Meetic Europe brands (Meetic, Ourtime, Even) and more ;-)
This is a collaborative role by working with different experts : copywriters, marketing managers, project managers, acquisition leads, … and fellow designers.

Your Tasks:

  • DESIGN STRATEGY
  • Critical evaluation of designs, identification of possible improvements, and providing constructive feedback are essential for ensuring work quality!
  • Contribute to develop creative & design strategy aligned with company objectives
  • Bring more Creative Intelligence to our creative ecosystem!
  • Find ways to identify creative drivers & evaluate our assets regarding creative KPI’s
  • Improve efficiency further with more brands, more touchpoint, more automation!
  • Participate in the implementation of advanced tools, new partners, … to enhance performance development in a scale approach
  • Capture new trends on how to improve efficiency on the design side
  • TEAM MANAGEMENT
  • Supervise and lead a team of designers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, ensuring a balance between creativity and adherence to tight deadlines!
  • Manage daily Designers team (2 Senior Brand Designers, 1 Senior Brand Integrator & Designer, 3 Junior Graphic Designers (apprenticeship)).
  • Provide clear guidance on project expectations and deliverables, emphasizing the importance of timely and effective project completion.
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support the professional development of team members.
  • Suggest professional and/or personal development trainings
  • Communicate internally on team’s achievements & successes.
  • PRODUCTION FLOW
  • Effectively prioritize and assign tasks to meet project deadlines, maintaining a high level of excellence in execution!
  • Manage and prioritize work for design teams (internal & external).
  • Manage design freelancers annual budget. Oversee reporting to Finance.
  • Participate in the implementation of new (free) talents in our pool.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all produced assets within budget & timing.
  • Ensure that projects are clearly briefed, satted, communicated and delivered (smooth running of project timelines).
  • Develop and evolve the team’s processes, values, and culture, with a focus on camaraderie, efficiency and simplicity.
  • Conduct Analytics & Reports on assets production & advise on recommendations.
  • Be part of the production effort 😉 Overall, we expect the Brand Design Manager to create digital contents (from storyboard to editing) to our performance campaigns for our dating brands on our main digital channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, …).
  • BRAND IDENTITY
  • Be the guardian of our Brand identity, bring it to life on all creative assets and make it evolve.
  • Maintain and develop the brand's visual identity across all communication channels/touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure visual consistency in advertising campaigns, events, and brand activations.
  • Contribute to the correct creative transcreation of new brands on all Meetic Europe’s markets : FR, UK, SP, GM, …
  • Participate in re-branding & re-positioning strategic reflections about brand identity.

What’s required for the role (hard skills) ?

  • You have a degree from a design school, multimedia creation or graphic arts.
  • You have at least 7 years of experience, preferably with diverse expertise including digital and content, showcasing versatility and a 360° vision.
  • Proven experience in team and project management in a pure player environment (or in agency).
  • You have strong design skills and have already worked for creative brands
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects & Premiere pro (mandatory). Little bonus if you master Sketch and/or Figma too 😉
  • You are sensitive to business issues as much as branding.
  • You know how to produce publishers' friendly contents (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, …) and actively monitor digital creative best practices.

  • You are more than comfortable with English (writing & speaking skills).
  • You are creative, curious and proactive.
There’s no getting around it : You’ll produce a lot of creative content for a vast array of touchpoints and lovely brands :-)
