This position will assist with implementation of Match Group's security and executive protection action policies, procedures and directives at our two West Hollywood offices. The Security Guard will carry out directives of the manager and adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the Protection Manual as well as the job responsibilities detailed below.

***Must be able to work four ten hours shifts overnight (8PM to 6AM)

How you'll make an impact:

You will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment in a professional manner. Ability to handle public interaction with disorderly or disruptive people and respond to emergency situations.
You will maintain a secure environment by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, and access points.
You will follow all company policies, procedures and instructions regarding the safety and security of employees and guests set forth by the department head.
You will utilize computer software for guest registry, communication, report writing, building access and video surveillance controls.
You will remain in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding security officer certification and First Aid/CPR/AED requirements.

We could be a match if:

You have a valid California Department of Consumer Affairs Bureau of Security and Investigative Services Security Guard certification card.
As condition of continued employment, you must maintain current active status of all required CA BSIS Security and First Aid/CPR certifications.
You have the ability to work nights, weekends and special events.
You have intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
2+ years of consecutive full-time work in the security field preferred.

The Essential Physical & Mental Functions of this role:

Stand or walk constantly (for up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet).
Climb stairs and ramps, occasionally during shift.
Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various duties.
Occasionally lift or carry up to 20 pounds.
Run as needed.
Constant use of eyes (correctable vision to normal level required) to observe, read, interact with public and co-workers, view security monitors; includes hand/eye coordination.
Work in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain or heat.
Constant mental alertness and attention to detail required while setting priorities and following up on assignments.
Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
Must be able to frequently prepare written reports on the computer.
