About the Role
The People Coordinator is responsible for the seamless administration and management of HR services for the entire Hinge organization. This role will support the HRBP and Talent Acquisition teams to deliver consistent HR support and help improve the efficiency, continuity, and effectiveness of our communications, data management, Workday utilization, and general administrative services. This role reports into the VP of HR and is an integral part of Hinge’s employee-facing HR team.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate, facilitate and complete routine people team tasks and programming
  • Support talent partners with the scheduling of virtual and onsite candidate interviews to provide a white-glove service experience to Hinge hiring managers and job applications
  • Facilitate employee onboarding sessions and facilitate all technical and administrative components of employee onboarding
  • Support the execution of Employee Experience and Organizational Effectiveness initiatives
  • Draft and own communications for all cyclical HR processes like performance reviews, compensation cycles, and more
  • Work with Match Group HR to manage Hinge’s HRIS system including maintaining the accuracy of all employee data, pulling reports for the People Leadership Team
  • Manage Hinge’s internal communications infrastructure including Slack Channels organization, Notion Intranet accuracy, and the delivery of the bi-weekly company All-Hands
  • Support the HRBP team by providing administrative and coordination support on routine and special projects
  • Help manage and maintain tools across the People Team’s HR tech stack including Workday, Lever, Culture Amp, and Epoch.
  • Report in to the NYC office 3 days a week.

You'll Need:

  • The People Coordinator is an outgoing, high-energy problem-solver who loves to help people resolve day-to-day challenges and issues.
  • You have strong attention to detail and a knack for organization.
  • You have an eye for the small details that can make or break a process, event, or experience when others might not, and you love to make something as good as it could be.
  • You’re quick with learning how to use new tools and technologies, and you love finding ways to improve and automate workflows.
  • You are also an exceptional written communicator who can make your point succinctly and relay important information in memorable ways.
  • While this role does not require previous work on an HR team, familiarity with HR tools and experience working in an HRIS are a major plus.
