About the Role
Hinge is seeking an experienced and strategic global communications leader to support and guide the growth of our business, brand, and company. You will be responsible for developing innovative communications strategies, leading a team of communications professionals, and collaborating with senior leaders across Hinge and Match Group. This role reports to the CMO of Hinge.


  • Develop and drive a global communication strategy that supports business goals and builds the brand’s reputation internationally. Key markets include US, UK, AU, DE, FR, NE, SP.
  • Develop and coach a world-class, high-performing team of communications professionals at Hinge.
  • Oversee all internal and external communications efforts across brand and product, trust & safety, issues management, social impact, and thought leadership.
  • Leverage and grow relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and stakeholders to drive innovative new opportunities and communicate what makes Hinge unique.
  • Monitor and analyze communications metrics and social sentiment to provide insights and recommendations for business and marketing strategy and planning.
  • Support Executive Leadership Team as a trusted advisor and strategic counsel, including the Founder/CEO in thought leadership efforts.
  • Collaborate with Match Group Chief Communications Officer and Senior Leaders as it relates to Comms opportunities, trust & safety issues, and financial reporting.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in a senior communications leadership role within the technology industry. Agency and Brand experience in consumer tech required.
  • Strong strategic thinking, graceful communicator, empathetic leader, and the maturity to guide a high performing, global team, and collaborate with senior leaders.
  • Extensive experience managing global media relations, PR and crisis communications, and a strong network of contacts.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital media platforms, trends, and emerging communications technologies, engaging the next generation.
  • Collaborative spirit – this work requires deep collaboration with the CEO/Founder, Executive Team, marketing team, product team, legal team and Match Group team.
