Oversee the productivity of assigned team, creating processes and workflows that work best for that team and its projects and that also function within Engineering's broader standards and practices. Mentor engineers to grow both in technical skill and as professionals. Represent team members in all forums. Utilize strong verbal and written communications skills to set clear goals for team members and for projects and ensure these goals are met as defined. Lead the implementation of SDLC practices including code reviews, static/dynamic code analysis and vulnerability assessments. Maintain awareness of all known vulnerabilities in application technologies used within the brand. Manage research teams into suspected application vulnerabilities. Lead efforts around secure development practices training for Engineers. Identify needs for, and lead the development of, security related libraries used in environment. Work with Engineering teams to implement Secure Coding Guideline documentation and procedures. Manage a team of security engineers, Application Security Engineers and Senior Application Security Engineers. Position allows telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. Salary: $199,500 - $287,000 per year.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related field plus 5 years of professional experience in application security or its development, including modern web technologies and mobile/web application security. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related field plus 3 years of professional experience in application security or its development, including modern web technologies and mobile/web application security. Must also have the following: 2 years of professional experience in OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and corresponding best practices for mitigation, at scale; 2 years of professional experience in securing large-scale web and mobile applications (including performing security code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and manual testing for logic flaws) and performing thorough threat modeling of web applications; 2 years of professional experience partnering and communicating with Engineering and Product teams; 1 year of professional experience with BurpSuite Pro and dynamic application scanning tools; 1 year of professional experience implementing and interpreting results from static code analysis tools.
