We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding customer payments. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

About Role:

  • Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify pricing, quantities, and terms before sending out invoices.
  • Monitor and review customer billing agreements.
  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to address billing discrepancies.
  • Record and post customer payments in the accounting system.
  • Reconcile payments received with outstanding balances.
  • Collections:
  • Contact customers to follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and address any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer transactions.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Our total compensation for this position can range from $55,000 to $85,000. The actual amounts may vary based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities related to the position.
