An ansible is a fictional device, coined by Ursula K. LeGuin, that is capable of near-instantaneous or faster-than-light communication across infinite space. We chose this name for the speed and magical sense of possibility it suggests and also to honor the trailblazing woman behind the idea.

About the Fullstack Software Engineer role

• Build the front-end and back-end of Ansible Beam’s web applications using React and NestJS.
• Leverage AWS components like App Runner, CloudFront, and S3 Buckets.
• Integrate third-party APIs to Ansible Beam's core products.
• Bring together the best technical approaches web2 and web3 have to offer.

The best candidates probably have:

• 4+ years of work experience building full-stack applications with React, NodeJS, and TypeScript
• Experience with Relational Databases
• Confident with RESTful API design as well as integrating 3rd party APIs
• Great with unit and functional testing and debugging
• Comfortable across the full stack
• Experience in Git/GitHub and branching methodologies, code review tools, CI tools, etc.
• Interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain
• Experience coding and managing high volume, high availability service architectures, i.e. payments or other real-time systems
• Experience building end-to-end software systems across full product life cycles from early prototyping and architecture through production and maintenance
• Early or mid-stage startup experience a plus
