This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and actively promote Tinder's narrative as a forward-thinking brand and cultural icon in the Brazilian market. This position requires residence in Brazil, fluency in English and native-level Portuguese proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking. The role also demands a thorough and insightful understanding of the Brazilian media landscape, encompassing both traditional and new media.
In this versatile role, your responsibilities will encompass managing brand reputation strategies, leading product communications (covering new features and innovations), and overseeing corporate communications, including crisis management and executive positioning in Brazil. This is a contract position for the duration of 12 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the VP of Communications, Americas (based in Los Angeles, HQ) on developing and executing communication strategies that resonate within the Brazilian market.
  • Work closely with our parent company, Match Group, to enhance narratives around trust, safety, and inclusivity.
  • Partner with regional teams and cross functional partners to craft impactful global campaigns that are locally relevant.
  • Lead and manage top-tier resources such as media monitoring, essential metrics, and media relations tracking.
  • Engage directly with the media and external partners.
  • Develop messaging for products in close collaboration with product marketing and safety teams.
  • Oversee agency resources and strategic planning.

Key Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in communications, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Fluency in English and native-level Portuguese proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Residence in Brazil.
  • A strong network within the Brazilian media landscape, and a knack for media relations.
  • Ability to create and execute comprehensive communication strategies.
  • Excellent collaborative skills, working effectively across multiple time zones and with diverse teams.
  • Enthusiasm for innovation in communications, and readiness to adapt and explore new strategies.
