Tech Stack

Must Have

PHP 7 or later, Laravel, HTML & CSS, VueJS, Javascript, SQL / NoSQL, REST APIs, Redis, Git, Low Level System Design, Data Structures, Unit testing & Design patterns

Nice To Have

Cloud (AWS/ GCP / Azure), Linux command line, Database Design, Messaging technologies like SQS / Rabbit MQ, etc.

Responsibilities

Write clean and well-designed & scalable code

Develop applications and features

Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product code and databases. Refactor or optimize existing code & database where needed

  • to all phases of the development lifecycle right from requirements through till live deployment
  • to learn and implement new technology as requirements evovle
  • and resolve roadblocks ahead of time

Be an independent contributor with high throughput

Align with product and project managers and ensure proper handoff of requirements

Develop, test, debug, support, and enhance software as per product specifications

Maintain strong coding, compliance, and security standards

Evaluate and provide technical solutions to solve a variety of complex and interdependent processes.

Drive complete ownership over every technical aspect of the features

As part of the team, ensure members adhere to our code quality and testing standards.

Your Qualifications:

Working experience in PHP 7+ for 2-5 years

Working experience in Laravel 2 years or more

Working experience in VueJS 1 year or more

Demonstrated end-to-end ownership for development of least one cloud-based product - Experience in building platforms & APIs is desirable

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - including work estimation, facilitation, and consensus building skills

Proven ability to project and meet estimated deadlines

Self-motivated, fast learner with attention to detail and quality

Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and communication skills

In a nutshell, what will I do every day in this role?

The full stack engineer is a highly skilled technical role within the organization with an area of focus typically spanning multiple product areas. They are responsible for identifying, ideating, designing, and executing on projects end-to-end in conjunction with the product team and senior leadership. Within areas of focus, they will also assist engineering management with refining and prioritizing impactful work in addition to unblocking teams and driving consensus on collaborative projects of the highest business need, risk, and complexity.
